Cannon Busters: The Animated Series is on FIRE!!

Cannon Busters: The Animated Series is picking up steam on Kickstarter, having reached their halfway point in 5 days with nearly a month to go. LeSean Thomas (involved with such popular shows as The Boondocks, The Legend of Korra, and Black Dynamite) has teamed up with a team of juggernauts, such as personal fave, Joe "Mad!" Madureira, to bring his comic book creation to the screen.
LeSean's name was brought up in a conversation with my good pal, Overton Loyd (world-renouned visual artist for George Clinton and P-Funk), while discussing possible connections to point in the direction of the creator of Urbance, another upcoming animated series which recently successfully funded its pilot via Kickstarter. Joel Dos Reis Viegas then brought to my attention that LeSean is a friend of his who is also launching a campaign for a new series.
The idea of having ANYTHING to do with the launch of a hit series would make any lover of the arts salivate, and we at Wind Clan are no exception. Our love for LeSean and Joel's work aside, the fact that Joe Mad! is involved is enough reason to support considering that the "Wind" in our name is the shortened version of our full last name "Windhom". The decision to shorten to "Wind" preceeded the formation of Wind Clan and was influenced by the shortening of Joe's last name to "Mad!"
